Elin NordegrenEighteen months after the divorce that rocked America , the ex wife of legendary golfer Tiger Woods, Elin Nordegren has splashed out on a 1932 built two storey luxury mansion in an exclusive North Palm Beach area known as Seminole Landing.  The stunning beach front property is situated just 11 miles from her ex husband Wood’s residence.

Ms Nordegren has been attempting to keep a low profile since news of her break up became public, spending much of her time with her family in Sweden. The 31 year old Swedish ex model received $100 million after filing for divorce due to Woods’ highly publicised alleged extra marital affair with a cocktail and several others who came forward after the initial revelation. The resultant divorce action went on to become America’s most publicised civil case in modern history.

 It has been reported that Erin paid $12.2 million for her new 17,000 square feet Florida home as the pair decided that it would be best to live in relatively close proximity to one another for the sake of their two young boys, Sam Alexis and Charlie Axel.

Mr Woods also moved into his own sprawling mansion within the last month. His latest multi storey mansion in Jupiter Island is also equipped with every imaginable luxury that one would expect from the world’s highest paid sportsman, such as a practice golf course, gym, bar, swimming pool and elevator. Woods’ latest home is perfect for a professional golfer as he is able to practice iron shots from the first floor of his property

Even though Wood’s new property cost almost six times times Ms Nordegren’s, it comes with much more living space as well as a huge 4,700 square foot basement.
